About This Book
This book is written from the perspective of a 10 year old, deaf boy, and his struggles whether or not to go to a sign language-oriented or an oralism-oriented school. His mother and father are separated...as they disagree on how he should be taught. The mother uses American Sign Language and the father wants to use oralism. Confused and unhappy, the young man runs away from home and adventures ensue.
