Shotgun Bride

Shannon Greer was a doctor who went west to find a bigger and better life. She fell in love with the Willamette Valley of Oregon, but the people didn't seem to respond like she thought they would. When she was dragged to the hills by a man claiming a man had been shot and he'd take her to him, she didn't have any idea what she was getting into.

To complicate matters a Texas Ranger shows up with the intent to arrest her patient and the men with him.

But nothing prepared her for the Hillbilly woman, known as Ma, that insisted she could not camp out with a bunch of men in the woods without the privilege of marriage. So Shannon found herself married to the Ranger and stumped on how to get out of that situation.
