Matt Bodine and Sam Two Wolves weren't lookin' for trouble when they rode into the little slap-up gold mining town of Jordanville high in the Colorado Rockies. All they wanted was some hot vittles and somethin' cold to wash 'em down. But when they saw an unarmed man gettin' beat with a bullwhip, their sense of honor and fair play wouldn't let them pass through without lendin' a helping hand.

Years before when they were boys. Matt and Sam were bonded by a Cheyenne blood ritual. Known as Brothers of the Wolf, they now rode wherever the trail took them, dealin' out their own brand of frontier justice whenever the need arose. They had no way of knowing they'd landed smack-dab in the middle of a bloody land war involving mineral rights, claim jumpers and a gang of hired guns itchin' to put them six feet under. All they knew was they'd never run from a fight in their lives and they were damned if they'd start now!
