When Pat Fenley boarded the liner "Walhara" to take a young patient to Ceylon, she didn't expect to find that the patient would be in grave danger. Physiotherapist Pat Fenley's latest job -- supervising a lovely young patient on a cruise ship to Colombo in Sri Lanka -- seems to have no pitfalls at first. She does not bargain for the fact that her stepmother Kristin is traveling on the same ship, with the millionaire she has earmarked for her next husband. The pleasure cruise quickly becomes a nightmare for Pat. And worse than any of the sinister events that surround her, is the shattering effect that the ship's surgeon, Bill Norton, has on her life!
