Continuing from Shifter: Inversion, William Ryan searches for Villelmus on Atouria, a world at war. He learns of the cost of failure if the war is not concluded according to Villelmus's plan, and while striving to achieve that outcome, he must navigate serious ethical dilemmas and leverage all his cunning to not only survive but to succeed.He is presented with challenges that he had never thought he would ever encounter, and making wrong decisions during those events will incur dire consequences not only for the people of Atouria but also for himself, and unbeknownst to him, the human race.
