Shield of Valor

Stoic NOPD Detective Mitch Ransom has his life under control until he agrees to testify before the grand jury against a brutal serial murderer. Then he is kidnapped to keep him from appearing in court and finds himself trapped in a trunk with a woman he doesn't like and believes he has to protect.

Tiffany Golden, a police dispatcher, wants to break the mold set for her by her stripper mother. She longs to become a cop and is well on her way to reaching that goal when she is kidnapped and tossed into the trunk of a car with a seasoned detective who believes she's just another dumb blond.

Mitch and Tiffany must somehow overcome their differences and find a way to work together against their captors in order to survive.
