Sherri McElroy, a private nurse for the wealthy Joshua Fairbanks, is entrusted at her patient's deathbed with an old brass key and a gold pocket watch bearing a mysterious inscription. Sherri reluctantly agrees to deliver them to his namesake a grandson he had never seen. Locating the handsome young Joshua Fairbanks is easy, but stranded in the Fairbanks mansion, Sherri quickly discovers that she has taken on more than she anticipated. A mysterious car, a missing body, and a secret tunnel all point to serious trouble trouble Sherri must overcome to fulfill her promise.
