Just when Sheriff Stone is beginning to believe the worst has passed his past comes back to haunt him. As a new reporter he discovered that an innocent man was falsely sent to the electric chair. The man who sent him there was the deputy. Now that same deputy is the sheriff and Rocky's evidence sent him to prison. It's been a couple of years now but the man has escaped and is back ready to get revenge on Sheriff Stone. Other stories include a big company who wants Rocky's property so bad they set the town against each other. They even are willing to set fire to the Sheriffs home.
