About This Book

Tommy and Shannon, two young frontier teenagers fleeing from a violent family member who intends to kill them, seek out a tribe of Cherokee Indians who will protect them. On the way, they discover a long-building love between them as well as the gift of “sight” that the girl is just becoming aware of. This gift that saved their family now saves the lives of several members of the tribe and assures their survival as well as the friendship of the entire tribe. The Cherokee host a shaman priestess, who trains Shannon in the use of her fledgling abilities and discovery of what she truly is: more than just the seer she believes she is, while warriors train Tommy in warfare so he may better deal with his violent family. With the help of white trappers, they band together to crush the terror reigning over the area. The final confrontation will pit family against family as well as friends against old enemies. Together they strive to fulfill the old prophecies and return balance and peace to their world. Right must survive or all may die.
