Shadows

This story begins with a set of severed legs and takes place during the Vietnam War in a valley west of Danang. Johnny Pueblo Spencer narrates the tale of how his Marine battalion is attacked by an unknown force they call the Shadows. When Johnny and his friend Sanchez insult some rear area office pogue officers, their squad ends up walking point, which they figure is a death sentence. What they discover is bizarre. It's a strange and bloody action tale that should satisfy both war and horror fans.
