Shadows of Regret

Linzi loves her job as nanny to baby Jonathan, and finds her employers Gavin and Morwenna pleasant and friendly. She looks forward to spending Christmas in Cornwall with them, at a large hotel owned by Gavin's mother. On meeting Gavin's brother Alex, however, she is struck by a look of deep despair in his eyes, and the haunted expression on his face whenever he is around Jonathan. Then there are the strange cries in the night, fretful wails like those of a newborn child…but Jonathan is sound asleep. Could the ghostly sounds have some connection with Alex's misery? And can Linzi dare to hope that she could be the one to ease his pain?
