Sam Spallucci is back!
Following on from the traumatic week that never was, Lancaster's down-trodden investigator of the paranormal is back on the streets (and indeed up in the air) tracking down grotesques, banshees, mummies and ghosts in a series of cases that have one underlying theme - a four hundred year old witch hunt that destroyed a small Lancashire community is about to erupt once more, this time on the streets of twenty-first century Lancaster.
Told from the point of view of the eponymous antihero, the Sam Spallucci series is a blend of film noir and urban fantasy where ghosts, ghouls and creatures from our nightmares lurk in the shadows of our everyday existence. There are also splashes of humour where life, the universe and even his best friend seem to refuse to let Sam have what might be considered a peaceful existence.
