Britt Ryan had never dreamed that her flair for photography would take her to France to visit the historic Chateau de Laon. Now she had only to pin down the elusive Philippe, master of the chateau, and she would have all the shots she needed for a stunning photographic essay that would ensure for her the coveted staff position at La Revue.

But soon Britt is swept away by her irresistible attraction to Philippe. Even the painful knowledge of his engagement cannot bridle her errant heart. Suddenly, La Revue seems less important than the Loire winds that had fortuitously blown Philippe to her. Now happiness seems as close as his warm embrace -- and as far away as the stars shining in the Mediterranean sky.
