Seven

Nothing is as it seems for the sacred number Seven. Its eternal reality is cloaked in layers of illusion which distort any underlying truth. As an abstract world of questions unfold, no particular answer is revealed. Obscured humor spirals in and around itself avoiding the possibility of a punchline. Seven Wonders of the World, Seven Hindi Chakras, Seven Deadly Sins, Seven Years of Bad Luck, The House of Seven Gables, Seven Colors of the Rainbow, The Magnificent Seven, all clamoring towards the opening of the Seventh Seal. An act of coincidence led to the title of this book. There was no premeditation to specifically create seven short stories, the die had been cast. These stories are random cut/paste samples derived from personal email correspondence encapsulating the millennial shift from the 20th to the 21st Century. A sense of urgency and abandon come together hinting at divine secrets, only to be revealed through the readers personal perception.
