Star-crossed!

Kate Osborne was angry. Her oldest daughter's mysterious neighbor appeared to have his telescope trained on her bedroom window! Actually, Police Commissioner Donovan Cade, an avid astronomer, had his eyes on more celestial bodies. Even so, he couldn't seem to keep them off the lovely Kate.

Kate, the widow of the late Senator Osborne, had vowed never again to place herself under public scrutiny. A relationship with Donovan would mean an end to her newfound privacy and her advocacy of causes that didn't always meet with police approval. So why couldn't she stop thinking about him?
