Seven Dead Pirates

Life isn't easy for 'terminally shy" Lewis Dearborn. His parents arc old and overbearing, his beloved Great-Granddad has just passed away and summer break is almost over. Soon he'll return to the one thing he can't bear to think about—school. But when his family moves into Great-Granddad's decaying seaside mansion, something extraordinary happens. Lewis claims a remote tower overlooking the Atlantic as his new bedroom and discovers that he belongs there as he has never belonged anywhere in his life. Lewis is delighted with his new room ... until he realizes that it's already occupied—by the ghosts of seven dead-but-very-rowdy pirates!

As Lewis gets to know his raucous new roommates, he must confront fears that have paralyzed him all his life. lie must also open himself to the possibilities, as well as the perils, of friendship, adventure and freedom.
