Serena: Come Back to Me

Serena Duncan is a nineteen year old law office secretary living in a small apartment with her three best friends; Beth, Brittany and Margie. It is the fall of 1941 and the girls plan on enjoying a night out at the local USO club. Once a month they go there to meet and dance with soldiers and sailors. On one particular evening, Serena meets marine corporal Noah Drake. He is handsome and polite and very interested in developing a relationship with Serena. There is one big problem with this romance. Noah Drake is the cousin to Vincent Compossi. Vincent is a twenty-five year old, arrogant gangster type who has his heart set on capturing Serena's heart for himself. As the story weaves through World War II, Noah fights to stay alive and keep the woman he loves safe from the hands of his cousin. The story is not limited by one romance. It also follows the love interests of Serena's best friends; Beth, Brittany and Margie as they support the soldiers they love during the war.
