Selective Memory

Sierra Leone in the 2000 conflict is where all Sergeant Fraser's demons were born. A troubled past, most of which can never be repeated lies waiting. The arrival of Fraser's former commander leads to complications. Captain Goddard wants his share of the stolen diamonds and is disturbed at Fraser's signs of self-doubt. Fraser breaking ranks could lead to every man in the regiment's downfall. Goddard can't take that chance and embarks on a reckless course of action to rectify the situation. A bomb explodes in Fraser's BMW, his wife Jenny and her friend Gemma die in the blast. DI Sarah Machin of Counter Terrorism Command is convinced the bomb was meant for Fraser. Fraser a man with secrets, Fraser a man who is living a lie. Greed shows no mercy to those who falter and don't fully embrace evil, as DI Machin, in charge of the investigation, soon realizes that everything surrounding the life of former Sergeant Fraser is about to implode.
