Seize the Night

Left disfigured at the hands of a madman, Emery Nicholson has basically given up on life. Nothing brings him happiness anymore, and the only man he's ever really cared about is in love with someone else. Gaius has always harbored a fondness for mortals. He knows it's forbidden to interact with them, but when a force beyond his control chases him from his home, he'll find that life in the mortal realm is more complicated than he imagined. Between Gaius falling on him and being ambushed by a pack of hellhounds, Emery isn't having the best day.
