One man and his daughter devise a treatment, infecting people by injecting them with their plasma, which also transfers their ability to survive. Threatened to be overwhelmed as people learn about their treatment, David sets those he's treated out into the world to sicken others in the hopes of spreading his treatment beyond himself. This book is PG rated (for language), though the previous two books in the series contain adult themes.
