Veronica "Ronnie Camden, lost both of her parents before college. Her father while he was on the beat as a Chicago policeman and her mother from a broken heart after her father's death. She had always sworn to her father that she would never pursue a career in law enforcement, but from the age of nine, that was her passion. Now at the age of twenty-six, she is the newest member of the Chicago FBI Investigative Support Unit working on one of the biggest cases Chicago had seen in decades.
The pressure is on not only to prove to her new teammates but to herself that she can work this case. But as the case gets more erratic it also gets more personal. Can she solve this crime before she becomes the last victim?
