Growing up in a succession of foster homes has given Tara Scott a fierce determination to provide a real home for her twelve-year-old brother, Mike. Her plans seem to be working out well when she is hired as executive assistant to businessman Clay Templeton. However, falling in love with her handsome, dynamic boss was not part of the plan.​
