Alexandra Colter wants peace, quiet and a chance to recuperate from an overwhelming work schedule. A vacation in the mountains fits the bill, but she never expects to fall in love. Unfortunately, her surgical career is several states away. With a huge student loan to repay, she needs a high-paying job to make ends meet.


 Charles, the mountain caretaker, falls for Alexandra. He asks her to stay, but a caretaker's salary is a pittance. He can't help with her debt. Yet, if he doesn't provide a solution, her vacation will end, and she will forever be out of his reach.
