Secrets and Malice

Rose's son Toby has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of rape, but she's convinced he's innocent and seeks help from her brother Brett who is a lawyer, but who's also dying from cancer. Brett knows that losing both him to cancer and her only child to prison would destroy her, and so he makes a decision to reveal a secret to Rose about the judge assigned to the case that ensures Toby's release, but in the process accidently sets off a chain of events that will destroy lives and tear apart families until finally a truth is revealed that is so unbelievable and unexpected that it will keep you on the edge of your seat until the last page
