Second Time for Love

Alone, Johanne Montgomery accepts her widowhood with reluctance. Forced to attend a barbeque, she meets Ritchie Collins, a man in a similar position. He takes her out for a date and progress is made to lift her depression. They start to hit it off until Becky, her daughter, is horrified her mother would even consider a date with a strange man. Sally, Ritchie’s daughter, is delighted he has met a good woman and encourages him. Things improve and they have strong feelings for each other.

When Ritchie’s ex-wife appears after many years, she tries to break up the blossoming relationship. So, Ritchie pays the ex-wife off to leave them alone. Word gets back to Johanne that he is seeing his ex-wife and she breaks up with him instead. Sally refuses a misunderstanding to stand in the way of his happiness and takes Becky to his business to prove she is wrong.
