What would you do with a second Chance in life? After growing up as one of the unseen foster children of the ImperiuM, one young man gets a life changing opportunity. Unfortunately, has he just traded one dark world for another?



Second Chance is the first in a series of short stories taking place in the Icarus Risen universe. This story is about the Langrad contract mentioned in the first book, Flight of Icarus. This story explores the nature of ImperiuM society. Though Jubal isn't a main character, he makes an appearance.
