Season's Customs

Gloine, a spirit of reflection, has no idea how to share the vastness of his feelings with an entity bound to only physical form, but he is determined to try. Ever since Kevin inadvertently freed Gloine from his mirror prison, Gloine has found Kevin's presence to be a soothing respite from the chaotic alliances of his home in the spirit realms. He plans to use the human holiday of Kriz Maz to give Kevin a meaningful gift, in hopes of expressing himself in a way that a physical entity might understand, but is dismayed to learn Kevin has no intention of celebrating after the loss of his grandmother. In an attempt to make him smile again, Gloine makes the mistake of inviting Kevin to his home. But humans don't wear armor or gift one another swords, and for them things like gravity and air are never optional. Gloine desperately works to ensure Kevin survives his visit, but he fears that their relationship might not.
