Sally Harris's life had always been dominated by her fear of water; as a small child she'd almost drowned and the memory haunted her even now. But as nanny to little Jamie she had to confront her fear of the sea when the family took over a run-down hotel high on a Cornish cliff top. Writer Brett Lowe seemed like a man who could help her, and Sally found herself drawn by his kindness and presence.
