Scurrilous

A man has few thoughts when being washed to sea other than staying alive; hanging onto anything that will give him purchase and floats. Death's siren calls from the sea and beckons men to her depths with the haunting screams and final prayers lost in the mournful howling of the storm. The search for the 'Scurrilous', a 17th century treasure laden Man-O-War captained by the privateer John O'Donnell, is met with both manmade and natural dangers that test the mettle of the crew and forges bonds of blood. Hurricanes and unscrupulous salvers cannot squelch their determination or tenacity as they seek a king's treasure in the straights of Florida.
