After finding counterfeit baseball cards in her brother Michael's house, antiques picker Jane Wheel is worried he may be involved in a shady eBay scheme. He looks just like the photo of web merchant Honest Joe on an internet store site and he's been repeatedly threatened by angry customers. Her brother insists it's all a case of mistaken identity.

Getting to the bottom of the mystery involves trawling through rooms filled with collectibles in Jane's charming Illinois hometown. At crazy cousin Ada's grand old house, piled high with all sorts of valuable antiques, Jane discovers an estate worth killing for. Someone else has, too. As Halloween night unfolds in a scary twist of family secrets, dark deeds and murderous intent, Jane confronts thieving ghosts…ready to dispatch her into the afterlife.
