Raised in a traveling circus, Anthony Castracane mastered better than anyone had before him the arts of horseback riding, knife throwing and wrestling. His life as the main attraction would have satisfied him--until he met the beautiful Muriel Lester, on her way West to be married.

Determined to claim her as his own, Anthony ventured West to the hell on earth that was Dodge City. In this outlaw town, Anthony had to use all the skills that circus life had taught him in order to survive. Immediately challenged by the town's worst elements, like the notoriously dangerous gambler Diamond Jack Kirby, Anthony soon proved himself to be every bit their superior: he outgunned, out-knifed and out-rode Dodge City's most notorious renegades, finally winning for himself the beautiful and elusive Muriel.
