Saving His Heart

Firefighter Colton Myers lives for his work. His relationships with women are only pleasurable distractions for the moments when his pager is quiet. The only exception is his childhood-friend Amy, who would never expect him to put her before his duty anyway. When Amy moves back to town, Colton is happy to let her stay at his place until she can get back on her feet.

Amy Powell is sure of two things. One, she'll always stay in Colton's friend zone. Two, she'll never date a fireman. Oh, there was a time when Amy hoped to be more than just a bestie to Colton, but that's ancient history. Bottom line, she feels perfectly safe moving in with Colton. Her new beginning is bound to be smooth cruising with her best pal at her side.

However, Colton isn't prepared for a grownup and beautiful Amy making his heart stutter. And Amy didn't anticipate how hard it would be to keep her old feelings for Colton at bay. Certainly, neither of them expected that seeing the line separating friendship from love would be this difficult.
