Satan's Silence

Psychotherapist Cassidy McCabe has a deeply disturbing session with Dana, a client who suddenly recovers a childhood memory in which she witnessed a Satanic murder in a Chicago area forest preserve.

Given Dana's psychiatric history, Cass is reluctant to believe that the incident really occurred. But when Zach Moran, her partner in crime solving, insists on searching for evidence, Cass is drawn into the investigation of an old murder.

At the same time her cat, whom she considered still a kitten, turns up pregnant, and Dana is accused of a heinous crime in the present. As the evil that emerged deep in the forest more than twenty years ago moves into the present, Cass begins to fear, not only for her client's life, but for Zach's and her own as well.
