Jean-Claude Dorris, Satan's chief disciple, has lost two of his follower groups to The Team. Owen Stanley and his associates have taken these cults down. Now Jean-Claude is determined that he alone can take them down. He travels to Newport Beach, California from his estate in New Jersey to do just that.
He calls on his Master to give him greater powers and is granted powers beyond imagination. He uses these powers to burn out The Team and change his appearance to frame Stanley for murder.
He then goes after each member of The Team to kill them. He succeeds in hurting them all. He puts Ell, Stanley's wife, in a coma and then disappears. The Team must go after Dorris, but they can't seem to find him.
Where has Jean-Claude gone? Can The Team destroy his cult followers? And what powers does Charlotte Dover have that frightens Stanley to death?
