About This Book

This novel was written following the diagnosis and treatment of the author's battle with Multiple Myeloma. Under the effect of steroids, narcotics, chemo drugs, and a stem cell transplant, it subjectively follows the fantasies, delusions, hallucinations, paranoia, and rehabilitation trail through year one of the incurable disease. Follow a political philanthropist, a mad chemist, a taoist enforcer, two highly trained rebel agents, a voodoo master, and a liquified assassin as they simultaneously fight against, and try to avoid, a Malthusian directive set in place to control the worlds population. The most stalwart of atheists will be praying to Saint Virus after reading this nightmarish tale of hope lost and regained through the miracles of daily living, the belief in comradery, and the obstinacy to transcend the rhetoric of rampant megalomaniacs and the masses caught in their web.
