Carrick "Shaw" Shaughnessy is a convict recently released at the age of 23. Siobhan "Liv" Callahan is a 22 year old college graduate working the only job that will pay her enough money to get the hell out of dodge: exotic dancing at Fairy Dust. They know plenty about poverty and struggle, easy money and death. A close-knit Boston neighborhood tethers them together but love has always ultimately united them. A celebration gone wrong.
