Running Out of Time

Grace Martin buried her mother six years ago and her step-father six months ago. She and her young sister are now alone in the world. After she completes one final task for her step-father, she's going to show Kim as much of the world as she can. But she has to hurry. Kim's leukemia has returned and they're running out of time.

Greg Cooper hasn't seen his father in fifteen years and doesn't expect to. He spends his time fighting fires and hanging out with his teen-aged son. His life is pleasant and predictable.
