Things couldn't be much worse for Joe Lucas. He was on remand for the attempted murder of Dave Thorpe, and now he'd heard that his victim had recovered, and was in hiding waiting to testify against him at trial. His ex-girlfriend Rhiannon had been a witness to what he'd done, and she had been the one to start the ball rolling by reporting him. Now she too had gone on the missing list.
