Rune Bound

Savanna finds her-self alone and on the run after her twin is killed. The killer left a message on his body saying, " Your next Savanna". She escapes an attempt on her life and is forced to join the Thirteenth Company to hide as a healers helper to the Dwarves. Her mother had told her on her death bed that her father was a Dwarf. Savanna faces dissension and hate as she tries to find her-self and her place in the world as she hides among the Dwarves. Her gift of healing is discovered and places her once more in danger, but this time the danger comes from the Dwarves as they think her a Teirnan spy. The Dwarf Lord in charge of the Thirteenth Company fights both the urge to kill her and the urge to claim her as his soul mate. Through the taking of her blood Braun learns she is his half sister and his uncles send her on a journey to the Mountain Holt to place her into the hands of Braun's mother for training. On the journey she must face her greatest enemy the killer who hunts her and his Vulsgard assassin.
