Runaway Hearts

Samantha Turner was perfectly content being the computer guru/research nerd for HEARTS Investigative Services. After seeing what her teammates have gone through, she'd rather spend her time surfing the internet than chasing bad guys. However, when she pushes her boss too far and is fired, Sam has to find a job elsewhere.She lands at Estrada Investigations, where she earns a spot on the team like a real investigator. Soon, however, she realizes a case that Victor Estrada is researching hits a little too close to home.Holly Austin, Sam's former boss, has been looking for the man that murdered her mother decades ago. Though HEARTS has made little progress, it seems like Victor is on the verge of a breakthrough.On her own for the first time and woefully unprepared, Sam has to protect herself, her partner, and find whoever is trying to stopthem from uncovering answers buried long ago.
