Romancing the Short Story

This is a collection of short stories for adults. The first story The Far Side of Lonesome deals with two black men who make a trade for a white woman with the Indians and then must see her to her home and family. Halloween Witness is story of murder that is witnessed by the town drunk. Who will believe him? The third is a contemporary where two middle age people come together after losing their spouses and fall in love. The last story is Distracted. A woman moves to a small rural town and finds the house she bought has some very mysterious problems. Why does someone want to scare her away?
