Rocky Point

When innkeeper Catherine Peterson steps out onto the south deck of the Rocky Point Inn, her eyes fixate in amazement on the large, improbable shape that's come aground. It's a boat, a very large one, where no boat should be. And inside is a very handsome, very mysterious man.

With the rising tide, the lovely boat is in serious jeopardy, and naturally, Catherine tries to offer assistance to the beleaguered sailor, Jake. At first he adamantly refuses her help, but a damaged boat and a festering toothache eventually force Jake and his Siamese cat Pywacket to seek refuge in the partially renovated inn.

There he gets to know the beautiful owner and begins to plan a surprising way to repay her kindness....
