A SUDDEN CHANGE IN PLANS...

Brock and I were headed for a week in Coconut Beach, Florida, and the greatest spring break ever. Except before we hit the freeway, we had completely broken up. I was ready to head back home when Gabrielle and Megan offered me a ride.

I barely know them: Megan hangs with the cheerleaders, and Gabrielle's a real quiet type-with her own convertible and a condo on the beach.

We'll be there soon. . . . Brock's waiting at his grandmother's ... but Gabby says there's room for me at her place. And after this drive, who knows? The three of us may have an amazing spring break after all. . .
