They say what you don’t know can’t hurt you, but I would beg to differ when the government is involved. Case in point: the national deficit is running rampant and out of control. Something has to be done. It’s what’s decided behind closed doors between a small group of highly influential men that changes the world forever. Thin out the population with a virus and then offer a free cure once they have reached their goal. The deficit will be reduced to the lowest in years, property values will decline during the outbreak allowing the well-to-do to amass their holdings on the cheap, and the people remaining will have a better life. What could go wrong? Nothing! That is until the man assigned to make the serum discovers what he is working on and why, and changes the formula. Things go very wrong when the cure sent to save humanity mutates and the sleeping sick waken with a hunger for flesh that cannot be filled. Follow a group of survivors as they attempt to come to grips with the realization that zombies are real and not just on a movie screen. Walk, or rather run, with the small band of people when they are forced to face danger, and intrigue, as they fight to survive and make choices they never thought themselves capable of in the face of the carnage surrounding them. As you travel with them ask yourself: What are you really made of? How would you react to a loved one becoming infected? Could you pull the trigger and end their suffering?
