River of Greed

River of Greed is the story of a modern-day baseball hero who is a throwback to the sport in its infancy. Tommy Mercer, the new pitching sensation for the Cleveland Indians, plays only for the love of the game. Tommy and his sidekick, Doc, find more than they are looking for when they search for a fishing hole in the Amish country of central Ohio. A life-changing experience at a mysterious pond leads them, not only to the big leagues, but starts them on a quest to find out about the greatest pitcher of all time…Cy Young. Along the road to fame, Tommy encounters a fanatical stalker who seeks revenge and plots his demise. Through adversity, Tommy learns the deeper meaning of life.
