Riley Quinn has never had a relationship that has lasted longer than seven days. She knows that her relationship skills are sorely lacking, but she doesn't know what to do about it. When the new pastor comes to town, and he looks nervous during his first sermon, she makes a kind gesture to help him, hoping it will lead to more.
Blake Coleman has spent his entire life in Missouri, and finds himself working as a reverend in Quinn Valley, Idaho. Loving the work he does there, he feels mobbed by all the women of the congregation. When a friendly face helps him get through his first sermon, he starts quietly dating her, feeling the need to keep the courtship a secret, because he doesn't want the whole town to know.
