Riches of the Heart

At the height of the California Gold Rush, Ethan Dalton decides there is more money in selling supplies to gold seekers than by searching for it himself. Before abandoning the claim, he asks Amelia Rhodes, the widow of his best friend, to marry him. She declines, not ready to leave behind her late husband's dreams of gold.
