Retarzan

After a solar event annihilates the Earth, civilization's future depends on the inhabitants of underground survival pods. One survivor, Retarzan, began life with three strikes against him, (1.) being born on 9/11/2001, (2.) he was a crack baby, (3.) he had weird orange hair. Retarzan is rescued by a billionaire. His new family is part of a select group that gets to live the survival pods. The rest of the world is destroyed. The 1500 pods are run by an Artificially Intelligent Mechanized Entity (AIME), the sentient computer, who invents a new team sport, in which, Retarzan excels. He becomes the pods hero. Eventually it is time to restore civilization on the Earth's surface where our hero is an integral part of the new world.
