Working with children on Paddington Ward was a delight for houseman Doctor Harriet Hart, and she was hoping very much to be taken onto the new consultant's team, dealing with cancer. It was a very nasty shock to discover the new Consultant was Tom Buchanan, the man who flayed her with his tongue some years ago over her relationship with his brother, Alex.
