Rescuing Darcie

Darcie Burrows always hoped that the man she lost years ago and assumed dead would come back somehow. She felt it deep in her bones that he was still out there somewhere trying to come home to her instead of dead as the military pronounced.

That hope began to fade when she loses their house and is forced to move. Thanks to a friend's offer she can have a fresh start in a new state. At a welcoming barbeque she meets Daniel who is unlike any man she had ever met and awakens feelings in her she long thought dead. Is she even ready to date and start over?
